Understanding the 30-Day Rate History

The table above lists the daily gold rate for the last 30 days, with the day-on-day change shown in the final column. A green figure means the rate rose from the previous day; a red figure means it fell. Reading these changes in order shows you whether prices have been trending up, down, or holding steady.

Daily rates move with the global spot price, the rupee–dollar exchange rate, import duty and local demand. Festival and wedding-season buying can also lift the local retail premium. Use this history to judge whether today's rate is high or low compared with recent days before you buy.

All figures are indicative metal prices and exclude making charges and 3% GST.
